Three piece alternative-emo outfit January's debut offering is very exciting indeed. Taking influence from the likes of Modern Baseball, here we see a band built upon witty, honest lyricism, a raw guitar sound and pure 3am on a cold, winters morning nostalgia. January could be a perfect compliment to the likes of Junk Drawer and Hot Cops, who are slowly carving out their own emo scene.

For those who grew up on Weezer's blue album, there's a lot to get into here. It's bleak as hell, but in a really good way.
